Function and Applications

To verify proportionality between centrifugal force and mass. Balls rise to the same height as a function of the rotation speed, independently of their mass. Can be fitted on centrifugalmachine or on laboratory motor.

•Semi-circular plastic channel.
•1wooden ball and 1 metal ball of the same size, but with different colours and masses.
•Diameter of balls: 20 mm.
•Diameter of channel: 310 mm.
•Length of shaft: 65 mm.
•Shaft diameter: 10 mm.
